Last updated: February 13, 2026

Summary

BackflowLogger does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Your device and test data stays on your device.

Data Collection

BackflowLogger collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

Device and Test Data

BackflowLogger stores your backflow device information (location, serial number, install date) and test records (test dates, results, pressure readings, photos) locally on your device using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. You can export your data as CSV at any time, and you can delete all data from within the app.

Local Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device using IndexedDB and localStorage. This includes device records, test history, photos, settings, and preferences. None of this data is synced, uploaded, or shared.

Photos

BackflowLogger may request permission to access your camera to attach photos to test records. Photos are stored locally on your device using IndexedDB. Photos are never uploaded to any server.

Notifications

BackflowLogger may request permission to send local notifications (test expiration reminders). These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any external service.

Purchases

If you purchase BackflowLogger Pro, the transaction is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your payment information. The payment provider's privacy policy applies to the transaction itself.

Network Access

BackflowLogger works entirely offline after initial installation. No data is sent to any server at any time during normal use.

Third-Party Services

BackflowLogger uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

Children's Privacy

BackflowLogger does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
